As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
Only registered users can submit manuscripts to ATFS.
Submit papers by following the "Make New Submission" link at the top or the "Make a submission" button on the right.
Submissions must be in doc/docx format, with only one file uploaded per submission.
Ensure the author list reflects substantial contributions. Any contributors who do not qualify for authorship should be listed in acknowledgments. Recheck your author list before submission, as changes may not be allowed later.
The journal does not provide file conversion or pre-review formatting services. Detailed instructions for formatting are in the template, and third-party services, such as Pefcor, are recommended for additional help.
There is no page limit, though the standard manuscript length is six pages.
Manuscripts must be written in English and should include a title, author affiliations, abstract (100-250 words), keywords, introduction, main body, conclusion, and references. Appendices and acknowledgments are optional.
SI units and internationally recognized terminology and symbols must be used.
The manuscript must be formatted in double columns, using Times New Roman font with a text size of 10 for the main body.
All graphics and figures should be inserted directly in the body, with larger figures spanning both columns. High-quality color figures are accepted.
Cite references in the text using numbers in brackets, and list them in the order of appearance.
Including an optional Author Profile section is encouraged.
Do not use copyrighted images unless they are free for use, following the copyright owner’s conditions. Unauthorized use of third-party images may result in retraction.
Authors must use the ATFS reference style and ensure that the manuscript contains sufficient recent references, including at least one from ATFS.
